Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Lived Values from our Founding to Today: Diversity is Among our Greatest Strengths

Our Workforce

Our workforce demographics reflect the neighborhoods we serve and the neighborhoods in which our employees live. 87% of Mosser employees self-identify as minorities.

Our Residents

Mosser is a melting pot of people of all kinds, many who have called Mosser home for decades. We take pride in our diversity and believe everyone deserves a home that is safe, comfortable, and welcoming. We deliver the highest quality management standards for the benefit of our existing residents and newcomers looking for high-quality affordable homes in diverse and inclusive properties.

Our Commitment

At Mosser, we are agents for positive social and economic change and have a moral calling to create places that are safe, just, and affirming. We continue to empower everyone at Mosser to strive towards creating the world we envision for generations to come.

We built Mosser to extend beyond representation and be a force for equitable and inclusive communities. We have pride in developing communities throughout gateway cities in California that are inclusive of race, ethnicity, national origin, (dis)ability status, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, and immigration status. From our residents to our workforce to our leadership, we are committed to social and economic justice for all.

Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance is Engrained in Mosser at Every Level

Guided by Our Strong Moral Compass of Care, Service, Respect, Professionalism, Honesty, and Corporate Citizenship.

“My father founded Mosser in 1955 to deliver on the promise of community-driven change and we are committed to continually innovating for the long-term sustainability of our neighborhoods. The global challenges we face today can be met if business leaders in communities across the world come together in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.”

We are dedicated to improving operational performance through energy reduction, including reducing garbage waste, limiting the use of new materials, redeveloping sustainably, increasing reuse, and lowering Mosser’s overall carbon footprint.

We are regularly cultivating a positive relationship with communities and developing a culture of connection for our tenants and the neighborhoods we improve. To accomplish this, we invest time and resources into our people, identifying and advancing underserved areas in the urban environment through volunteerism and education.

We operate and manage Mosser with high ethical standards, transparency, with a vision for the long-term growth and health of the Mosser communities.
